So....

I am attempting to be good and keep my promise at more entries as I now have regular, untimed, doesn't require me to schlep my laptop down to stary mesto, internet. It's a lovely feeling, being able to get on the internet at times that are considered normal in the Western Hemisphere, so that I can actually talk to people. (aka, weird times that you can't be in cafes downtown because they're either closing or already closed for the night, such as 10 pm, midnight, ect.)
But I digress.

As for what's been going on this lovely week, not much. I've been settling in. Majka and Josžko are both really nice, and I have discovered that Beth and Carlos speak the truth: Majka is a great cook! The only bad thing is that Majka's had a bad toothache most of the week. I'm glad it's finally getting better.
On a side note, I have a chore! I didn't really have chores beyond the basic "Help clear away the dishes, and put your own dishes in the umivačka" type chores in my other host families. With the Lapinovs, I must vacuum the wood floor of my room every Saturday. Why does this delight me? I have no idea. I hated vacuuming my room in America. Just ask my mother.I suppose it's probably a result of the fact that it means I'm being treated as part of the family. And that's always a nice thing.

Oh, and there's a chance that I'll get to try Zumba with my friend Veronika next week! Should be interesting, no?
