I have despaired of Blogger ever allowing me to post either of the two video entries I've done up here, because they're too long for its taste. Thus, I have caved: I have set up a youtube account, and am posting them there. I'm not exactly 100% comfortable with this arrangement, but I'm doing my best to make finding them on there as tricky as humanly possible, so hopefully there will be no creepy people coming after me. Although, truthfully, I doubt that they would try to; something tells me most English speaking creepy people don't live in Slovakia. Still. Better safe than sorry, no?

In other news, Christmas time is already here. It's rather startling, but since they don't have Thanksgiving here.... It is the natural course.
A note to any teachers reading this blog: If you have an exchange student in your class, do not, please, God, I'm begging you, do not make them write an essay on whether or not they are homesick for class. It's a mean, nasty way to make them feel homesick by forcing them to think about it. Having them read it out loud to the class because it talks about something unique from their culture is also sadistic.
Guess what my topic for the English essay test we took yesterday was? Guess what I got to do in class today, when we got those tests back?
By the way, I really ought to thank my various and sundry English teachers from over the years. Thanks to you lot, my English teacher thinks that I'm a wonderful writer. So, maybe writing all those essays on books we read in class really did pay off!
